Maizie (tortie) and Taffy (aka Kyle) came to the shelter as very timid, nearly feral kittens. They went into a foster home where they stayed for about 2 months and worked on their socialization. They were around cats and dogs and appear to do well with both.

Maizie and Taffy are still extremely timid and do not seek attention. They both allowed their foster parents to pet them if they were napping; otherwise, they would run from any attempts of affection. With a very patient human, in a quiet home, they may improve over time.

The girls need to either be adopted together or be adopted separately into homes with another cat. They will require a quiet home, no young children, and lots and lots of patience. They are so much fun and brought such happiness to their fosters; they love watching cat videos on a tablet, chasing wand toys, and fake mice. While they may not let you pet them for some time, they will still bring plenty of joy.
