Over 90% of the money GVAWL receives through contributions, grants, and small service contracts is spent directly on animals.
These expenditures are for veterinary care – including spaying/neutering – food and supplies, and the costs associated with operating the Animal Shelter and Adoption Center.
In 2015, we adopted out 312 animals and returned 219 to their homes! Our previous record number of adoptions was 251 in 2014. Prior to having a shelter, the record was 134 adoptions.
Your contribution will help us take good care of our critters as we find them lifelong homes. Click the orange “Donate” button to the right to give today.
We are also seeking contributions for an indirect expense: hiring a part-time shelter manager. This would run $16,000 to $20,000 a year.
